One of my favorite film is Forrest Gump. It's an American comedy-drama based on a novel written by Winston Groom. The film was made in 1994 and is directed by Robert Zemeckis. It has won lots of awards and nominations, including the Academy Awards and Golden Globe Awards. Forrest is played by Tom Hanks and the other main characters are Bubba, his best friend,  Dan Taylor and Jenny, the love of his life. The story is about a boy brought up by his mother in Greenbow, Alabama. He goes through life meeting famous people and finding himself in historic situations.

I chose GCSE media studies because it sounded really fun, i also saw the trailers that the other classes made and it looked like a lot of fun. Also it will help me in the future because we use media a lot in are lives.
